Gold Om Trishul Rudraksha Pendant
ॐ त्रिशूल रुद्राक्ष पेंडेंट — 22K शुद्ध सोना, प्राकृतिक पंचमुखी रुद्राक्ष
Born from three of Lord Shiva's most revered symbols — the primordial sound of Om, the invincible Trishul, and a natural Rudraksha from his compassionate tears — this pendant is more than an ornament. It is a spiritual companion for those who carry their devotion close to their heart. Handcrafted in rich 22K yellow gold at our Chembur workshop, each curve of the Om, each prong of the Trishul, and the cradled Rudraksha bead speaks of faith forged in fire and finished with care. The Tri Shakti — Three Sacred Symbols, One Divine Pendant
Each element in this pendant carries centuries of spiritual meaning rooted in Hindu scripture and devotional tradition.
Om (ॐ) — The Primordial Sound of Creation
The Mandukya Upanishad declares Om as “all that was, all that is, and all that shall be.” Composed of three syllables — A, U, and M — it represents the three states of consciousness: waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. Beyond these lies the fourth state, Turiya — pure awareness — symbolised by the silence that follows the chant. In the Bhagavad Gita (9.17), Lord Krishna identifies himself as the indescribable Brahman through the syllable Om.
When worn close to the heart, the Om symbol serves as a constant reminder of this universal truth — connecting the wearer to the cosmic vibration that sustains all existence. It is believed to harmonise the crown and third-eye chakras, promoting inner peace, mental clarity, and spiritual protection.
Trishul (त्रिशूल) — The Trident of Divine Power
According to the Vishnu Purana, the Trishul was forged by Vishwakarma, the divine architect, from the radiance of the Sun god Surya — and gifted to Lord Shiva as the ultimate weapon against adharma. Its three prongs carry layered symbolism: the Trimurti (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), the three gunas (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas), and the three worlds (Swarg Lok, Bhu Lok, Pataal Lok).
In yogic tradition, the three prongs also represent the three main energy channels — Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna — that govern the flow of prana through the body. Wearing the Trishul is believed to cut through ego, ignorance, and attachment, empowering the wearer with courage, clarity, and spiritual strength.
Rudraksha (रुद्राक्ष) — Born from Shiva's Tears
The Shiva Purana tells how Lord Shiva, after aeons of meditation for the welfare of all beings, opened his eyes and tears of compassion fell to the earth. Where these tears landed, the Rudraksha tree (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) grew. The name itself comes from “Rudra” (a name of Shiva) and “Aksha” (eye or tear).
The 5-mukhi (Panchmukhi) Rudraksha in this pendant is the most universally revered variety, representing the five elements — earth, water, fire, air, and sky — and the five faces of Lord Shiva (Sadyojata, Vamadeva, Aghora, Tatpurusha, and Ishana). It is traditionally worn for mental peace, blood pressure regulation, and protection from negative energies. There are no restrictions on who may wear a 5-mukhi bead — it is suitable for all ages and genders.
Crafted with Devotion and Precision
Lost-Wax Casting & Hand-Finishing
The Om and Trishul framework begins as a hand-carved wax model, capturing every curve of the Devanagari script and the precise geometry of the trident's three prongs. This model is investment-cast in 22K gold using the ancient lost-wax (cire perdue) technique — the same method used in Indian temple jewellery for centuries. After casting, each piece is hand-filed, smoothed, and polished to a warm lustre by our Chembur workshop artisans.
Rudraksha Selection & Mounting
Each rudraksha bead is sourced from Nepal's Himalayan foothills and hand-selected for clearly defined mukhi lines, uniform shape, and structural integrity. Beads with cracks, insect damage, or artificial treatment are rejected. The chosen bead is carefully mounted within the Om's inner curve using a gold wire cradle that holds it securely while allowing the bead's natural texture to remain fully visible — a deliberate design choice that honours the organic character of the seed.
Blue Stone Accent & Bezel Setting
A small round blue stone is set on the right side of the pendant in a clean bezel setting — a thin gold rim that wraps around the stone's circumference, holding it flush and secure without prongs. The blue provides a subtle colour contrast against the warm yellow gold, adding a touch of visual interest that draws the eye without competing with the devotional symbolism of the piece.
22K Gold — BIS Hallmark Certified
All gold used in this pendant is 22-karat (91.67% pure) — the traditional Indian standard that balances the deep, warm yellow colour devotees expect with the structural strength needed for the Trishul's delicate prongs and Om's flowing curves. Every piece carries the official BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) hallmark — your guarantee of purity and honest weight from Swarnshikhar Jewellers.
When to Gift or Wear This Pendant
A devotional pendant carries meaning far beyond the metal and stone — it marks a moment, a blessing, a bond.
Maha Shivaratri
The most auspicious night for Shiva devotees. Gifting or wearing a Shiva pendant on this day is believed to invoke Lord Shiva’s divine blessings and protection for the year ahead.
Shravan Somvar (Sacred Mondays)
Every Monday during the holy month of Shravan is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Starting to wear this pendant on a Shravan Monday is considered deeply auspicious across North and West India.
Dhanteras & Akshaya Tritiya
Two of the most auspicious days for gold purchases in the Hindu calendar. Buying gold on these days is believed to bring lasting prosperity — and a devotional pendant adds spiritual significance.
Birthday or Milestone Gifting
A gold Om Trishul Rudraksha pendant is a deeply personal gift for a father, husband, brother, or friend who is a Shiva devotee — far more meaningful than a generic jewellery piece.
Griha Pravesh (Housewarming)
Gifting a Shiva pendant during a housewarming ceremony is a blessing for the new home — invoking protection, positive energy, and auspiciousness for the family.
Raksha Bandhan & Bhai Dooj
Sisters often gift brothers a spiritual pendant on Raksha Bandhan or Bhai Dooj — the Om Trishul Rudraksha serves as both a gesture of love and a shield of divine protection.

Care Instructions
Rudraksha Bead Care
Oil the rudraksha bead lightly every 15–30 days with a drop of sandalwood, almond, or sesame oil to prevent drying and maintain its natural texture. Never soak the pendant in water. Remove before bathing, swimming, or any water activity — prolonged moisture weakens the bead's structure over time.
22K Gold Care
Gently wipe the gold with a soft, dry cloth to maintain its warm lustre. 22K gold rarely tarnishes, but avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths that could scratch the Om's polished curves or the Trishul's delicate prongs. Remove before applying perfume, deodorant, or lotions — chemicals dull the gold over time.
Storage & Professional Care
Store in the soft cotton or silk pouch provided — never in plastic, which traps moisture. Keep away from humid environments and direct prolonged sunlight. If the rudraksha bead feels dry or the gold needs polishing, visit us at our Chembur store — we're always happy to clean and inspect your pendant at no charge.
Frequently Asked Questions
This pendant unites three of Lord Shiva’s most sacred symbols. Om (ॐ) is the primordial sound from which the universe was born, described in the Mandukya Upanishad as encompassing past, present, and future. The Trishul (trident) represents Shiva’s mastery over the three gunas — Sattva (purity), Rajas (activity), and Tamas (inertia) — and his power to destroy ignorance. The Rudraksha is born from Shiva’s own tears of compassion. Together, this Tri Shakti combination is believed to provide spiritual protection, inner strength, and divine grace.
