The coin and its card
Each coin comes in a sealed blue NIBR ACA SONS card. The certificate shows the weight and GOLD 999.0 fineness beside the coin. Check both against the weight you choose and the details on your bill.
The full counter video shows the tray and the 1 g, 2 g, 3 g, 5 g and 20 g cards up close. Keep the coin in its packet and retain the purchase bill.
About the refinery
NIBR ACA SONS is National India Bullion Refinery ACA SONS, a Mumbai refinery that has made gold coins and bars since 1970. The tree emblem on the card is theirs, and every coin leaves the refinery sealed beside its printed certificate.
It is the refinery behind the silver bars and lagdi on our counter too, so the packaging you see on the gold coin is the same one across the tray.
Gold for a family occasion
For a wedding, naming ceremony or Diwali gift, a gold coin leaves the choice of jewellery to the person receiving it. There’s no ring size or necklace length to get right.
Buying for several people? Start with a budget per person, then ask us for the total for the number of coins you need. Share the occasion and date so we can confirm which weights are available.
Before you buy
What is included in the price?
Ask for the total for your chosen weight, including the gold value, coin premium and applicable taxes. The gold rate alone is not the final coin price. We’ll confirm the current amount when you enquire.
Can I get a particular weight?
We carry 0.5 g, 1 g, 2 g, 3 g, 5 g, 10 g, 15 g, 20 g, 50 g and 100 g coins. Anything heavier we arrange on request, the same day. Confirm availability before visiting, especially if you need several coins of the same weight for gifts.
What are the buyback terms?
Ask us for the current buyback terms before buying. If you already have a coin to sell, bring the coin and its bill to our Chembur counter for a valuation. The purchase price is not a guaranteed resale price.
Is there a bill with the coin?
Yes. Every coin goes out with a GST bill showing the weight, the purity and the price you paid. Keep it with the card; a buyer will ask for both.
Can I open the card?
You can, though a coin is worth more to a buyer with its card intact, so we suggest leaving it sealed. If you want a closer look before buying, ask at the counter and we will hold it up under the light.
